NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — No one appeared to be hurt after a truck barreled into a traffic signal pole early this morning, city cops said.
The vehicle hit the pole around 4:22 a.m. today, Sept. 1, near Easton Avenue and Huntington Street, police Capt. J.T. Miller told TAPinto New Brunswick.
A news alert suggested that the pole had suffered damage. But New Brunswick police said it didn't appear that “traffic was affected too significantly.”
The city's fire department also went to the scene of the crash, Miller said.
Incident reports had yet to be completed as of an hour ago, he said. That meant he was unable to provide additional details.
TAPinto New Brunswick will update this story as more information emerges.
