SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Get ready to kick into action.

The Spotswood Soccer Club's registration for the fall recreational season is open for children ages 4 through 12. Children from area towns are welcome to join the club, which features youth, junior, senior and premier levels. The club does not impose residency restrictions, and the price is the same regardless of whether the player is a Spotswood resident.

Fees from now until Aug. 31 are $75 for regular registration. However, the fee for late registration, from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, is $100. Multiple-child family discounts are available.

The youth level is for players in pre-school and kindergarten. Participants must be 4 years of age by Oct. 1. The junior level is for players in first and second grades, while the senior level is for participants in grades three and four. The premier level is for players in grades five through eight.

Depending on the age group, some levels may have a weekly practice.

Games are typically played on Saturdays on the Inland Container Fields on Summerhill Road or the Spotswood High School fields. The fields on the Immaculate Conception School's facility have also been used in the past.

A shirt, shorts and socks are included in the registration fee. Players will enjoy a 10-week season, a photo day and an end-of-season pizza party with awards.

Registration can be completed online at the Spotswood Soccer Club website.
