NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - How many renters can say their apartment building has won an award?
Residents of 205 Easton Ave., a new “upscale” building called The Bookend, can. Premier Properties, a New Brunswick development company, won a Curb Appeal Award of Excellence from the New Jersey Apartment Association for the building last month in Long Branch, according to a company press release.
The Bookend stands near Saint Peter’s University Hospital and Buccleuch Park, between Senior and Courtland streets. It offers one- and two-bedroom apartments, each with a den, solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, wood flooring and more. The complex includes laundry facilities, elevators, parking, a gym and a rooftop veranda, according to the company.
“Everyone at Premier Properties of New Brunswick works diligently to bring the best rental properties to its residents,” company president Mitchell Broder said. “We are honored to have that work recognized.”
Les Salamon, co-founder, said the developer’s diverse management team has helped to boost the company. Its workforce includes people of Hungarian, Jewish, Italian, Honduran, Indian, Muslim, Mexican and Jamaican heritage, he said in the release.
