NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ — A double hit-and-run this weekend sent two men to the hospital with minor injuries, according to police.

New Brunswick cops have yet to identify or locate the suspect and the vehicle, Capt. J.T. Miller told TAPinto New Brunswick.

The driver allegedly struck two men at around 12:16 a.m. Saturday, July 22, as they tried to cross Handy Street, Miller said. The incident occurred near Jersey Avenue.

Both men sustained what Miller described as “minor” injuries to their legs. They received treatment at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

The alleged hit-and-run driver, meanwhile, fled the scene on Handy Street, cops said. The vehicle headed toward Joyce Kilmer Avenue.

Police said the vehicle in question is a dark-colored Nissan.
