Woodfield Distribution, LLC, a pharmaceutical logistics services provider based in Boca Raton, FL continues to expand facilities and capabilities. The company, also known as WDSrx, signed a lease for a 63,500 square-foot space at 15 Stults Road in South Brunswick, NJ.

The pharmaceutical-grade facility represents the establishment of a physical presence for WDSrx in the Northeastern United States. Limited operations will commence in January with increased operations planned in the first quarter of 2018.

“Our New Jersey facility responds to client demand for our services near their center of operations,” states WDSrx President Adam Runsdorf. “This new warehouse represents the next stage of our growth into key pharmaceutical hubs around the country.”

The development is a return home for Runsdorf, a New Jersey native and graduate of South Brunswick High School and Rutgers University.

“New Jersey is special for me personally and was an important factor in selecting the premium site off the NJ Turnpike at Exit 8A to foster growth at WDSrx," Runsdorf said.

The company expects to hire approximately 15 additional staff.

WDSrx operates facilities throughout Florida, Texas and now, New Jersey spanning 320,000 square feet registered by the DEA, DOT, EPA and accredited by VAWD and other regulatory authorities. Another recent expansion occurred last month when a new warehouse opened in Pompano Beach, FL, beside an existing facility.

“We welcome WDSrx to New Jersey’s flourishing life sciences sector,” says Michele Brown, President and CEO,

Choose New Jersey, Inc., an economic development organization with a mission to encourage and nurture economic growth throughout the State.

“With more than 3,200 life sciences establishments, including 13 of the top 20 biopharmaceutical companies in the world operating in our State, WDSrx is well positioned to capitalize on our industry’s strength with its new warehouse in South Brunswick," Brown said. '

Jason Goldman, Executive Managing Director and Michael Kimmel, Director, Industrial Services Group of Cushman & Wakefield, represented WDSrx in the transaction.

WDSrx provides manufacturers of prescription and over-the-counter drug products, raw materials and related components with warehousing, fulfillment, cold chain, packaging, call center, financial services management and reverse logistics to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
