NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ  - The city’s Puerto Rican Action Board is among three Middlesex County organizations sharing in federal grants totaling more than $122,000 for housing assistance for struggling families, according to a report in MyCentralJersey.com.

The PRAB was awarded roughly $38,400, according to the report. Other local recipients include the Housing Authority of Perth Amboy, which received about $43,350; and Faith Fellowship Community Development Corp. of Sayreville, $40,900.

The Puerto Rican Action Board, a nonprofit founded in 1971, provides bilingual services to low-income residents, including housing services and counseling.
