Children ages 6 and up are invited to participate in cultural and artistic explorations in a workshop setting. Parents are welcome to participate in the class with their children, but not required.
Beginners welcome! No prior experience necessary!
Class fees are $5 per participant donation to Raíces Cultural Center. All class fees help fund community programming in the cultural arts.
Raíces Cultural Center, a non-profit, is a cultural, artistic and educational organization interested in the preservation of cultural roots and history through the arts. The organization believes that the arts are for everyone, is participatory, is community and originated in a time when there was no distinction between audience and artist.
All who participate in and support Raíces Cultural Center programming are directly preserving art forms, histories and heritages in central New Jersey which would otherwise be lost.
