At a fundraiser last night in Woodbridge, supporters raised an impressive $150,000 for the re-election campaign of Assemblyman Craig Coughlin (D-19th Dist.) More than 100 people attended the two-hour event.
Coughlin was introduced by Assemblyman Jerry Green of Plainfield (D-22nd Dist.), who said he was looking forward to Coughlin's leadership in the Assembly and his strong ability to lead the Democratic caucus.
There was a strong contingent of supporters in attendance, including Sen. Joseph Vitale, Assemblyman Gordon Johnson (D-37th Dist.), Mercer County Executive Brian Hughes, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac, Union County Sheriff Joe Cryan, Middlesex County Democratic Chairman Kevin McCabe, as well as many Middlesex County freeholders and other elected officials from Middlesex County.
In addition, there were many government affairs professionals from State Street in Trenton, as well as representatives of businesses and corporate groups.
