NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Two New Brunswick men were among four arrested on drug charges following a motor vehicle stop in East Brunswick on Feb 2, according to a statement from police. 

Carlo Severino-Salazar, 19, and Tatiana Garcia-Hidalgo, 18, both of New Brunswick and David Natal, 31 of North Brunswick and Donnie Dotson, 47 of Trenton, all face charges of heroin and cocaine possession and intent to distribute, and possession with intent to distribute in a school zone. Dotson was also charged with marijuana possession. 

The four were pulled over by East Brunswick Patrolman Brian Woodruff at around 5 p.m., according to police. Woodrufff noticed their car, a 2004 Dodge Pickup, perform an illegal turn on Main Street near the entrancde to Route 18 South, police said.

Woodruff approached the vehicle and noticed the smell of marijuana, police said, and a search of the car turned up 56 bags of heroin and 25 bags of cocaine. 

The car was a short distance from the Bowne-Munro School when it was pulled over, police said, hence the school zone charges. 

All four were released pending a court date.
