“It’s a great book for people just starting to learn about cannabis and experts who want to know more about its nuances,” Ulloa said.

The book is a compendium of Ulloa’s articles along with research into the plant and its role in civilization since the rise of Ancient China, especially the creation of a legal industry that has led to the “Green Rush.”

“Cannabis is safer than tobacco and alcohol, yet the government has treated it like the devil’s lettuce for far too long,” Ulloa said. “Nothing good has come as a result of cannabis prohibition.”

The book was self-published as an e-book. It is currently available on Barnes & Noble.com and Apple Books. “Cannabis 101” will be available on Amazon.com shortly.

Ulloa is a freelance writer and Editor of Headynj.com, a local news site covering cannabis reform and the industry in New Jersey.
