The Jaffe Briefing - July 10, 2020

TOMS RIVER – Even before all those Halloween pop-up stores begin cropping up next month – for those who must absolutely have their costumes really, really early – there is already some COVID-related Halloween news to report: the announcement of the first parade being canceled because of this damn pandemic. The big fun in Toms River – typically attracting 100,000 or so ...

The Jaffe Briefing - July 9, 2020

TRENTON – No surprise that not everyone is on board with Gov. Phil Murphy’s mandate for all of us to wear masks outside. Of course, there are some concerned Republicans, who’ve been known to fire off a press release, or maybe two, just to be critical of anything. And there’s lawmakers like Sen. (No, not you, Sanders) Much more ...

The Jaffe Briefing - June 29, 2020

The Jaffe Briefing will be on vacation beginning Wednesday, July 1, returning Tuesday, July 7

STATEWIDE – Today is the day. Finally. After months of more waiting, and many, many hours of extra parallel parking, 17-year-old kids can finally take their road test to get a driver’s license. Yet, if they expect to nail the test and zoom on out of the MVC, there is still some more ...
