Segunda Quimbamba and United States of Boogaloo Live at the Slip

Join us for the season finale of Live at the Ferry Slip Music Series on Saturday October 7th from 7-9pm at the Perth Amboy Ferry Slip.

Segunda Quimbamba is a dance and drum ensemble that perform authentic bomba and plena, the vibrant drum music of Puerto Rico

United States of Boogaloo perform Spanish-English songs fusing Boogaloo, Punk, Salsa, Rockabilly, Samba, and Puerto Rican Bomba y Plena music.

The show is free and all ages. Enjoy great live music, beautiful views of Raritan Bay and the full moon. Also check out the Ferry Slip Museum and the food trucks, ice cream parlor & bars and restaurants along the Marina. 

Live at the Ferry Slip Original Music Series is hosted by Perth Amboy Artworks in partnership with the Historic City of Perth Amboy Ferry Slip Museum and The City of Perth Amboy Honorable Mayor Wilda Diaz. The program is made possible with funding support from the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Office of Culture and Heritage and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
