Film Showing: The Incredibles 2 10:30am & 7pm

Where: State Theatre New Jersey

Everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back! This time, it’s Elastigirl leading the way, facing off against the city’s newest mega-villain, Screenslaver, and his destructive mind-control powers. Meanwhile, Mr. Incredible is left behind to look after the kids, and he’s not happy about it. Somehow, the family must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible. This performance is general admission and seats are first-come, first-served. Accessible seating on the orchestra level is available but is limited. There is no elevator access to the balcony, it is accessible by stairs only. This is a free event.

NBJP Presents Charlie Apicella & Iron City 

Where: Hyatt Regency

The New Brunswick Jazz Project presents Charlie Apicella and Iron City. Charlie Apicella has studied improvisation and composition with Pat Martino, Yusef Lateef, Archie Shepp, and Dave Stryker. Classic jazz guitar tone and phrasing are the cornerstones of Charlie’s playing. He is the leader of the organ trio Iron City and has produced three of the band’s recordings. He has published lessons for DownBeat and Just Jazz Guitar magazines and hosts his own private lesson teaching website. His straight-ahead sound has him among the first call as an accompanist for vocalists and his Freddie Green-style rhythm guitar playing keeps him in constant demand for big bands.

We WILL be having speed dating (optional) for people who need a little extra help getting the conversation started.

We are paying homage to one of the greatest artists/musicians do ever do it, Bob Marley! Come paint your own Bob Marley masterpiece with the guided instruction of a master artist instructor. Bring your own wine, champagne, or beer and relax and enjoy the art therapy while Dj Kiss Me I'm Famous plays some of your favorite Bob Marley classics and more.
