NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The city's third annual Oktoberfest, a fall celebration of music, food and community held in New Brunswick’s City Center, will kick off noon on Saturday, Oct. 12.

Enjoy a variety of local and traditional food, craft brews to German beers and vendors up and down the George Street area.

Party-goers are encouraged to get into the Oktoberfest spirit by wearing their best dirndl or lederhosen. The fun continues with a music lineup that will feature a combination of performances for a broad age range, including Traditional German music.

Oktoberfest is sponsored in part by the Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau. 

Festival-goers can also support the Janice Lopez Ovarian Cancer Foundation. By purchasing a souvenir mug, you'll help raise awareness and support the fight against ovarian cancer.

The Janice Lopez Ovarian Cancer Foundation Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Its mission is to raise money, and spread awareness to support ovarian cancer research and patients. Their vision is to help save the lives of mothers, daughters, sisters and friends.

There is no entry fee for the event, that runs from noon to 5 p.m. and is open to the public, rain or shine. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
