NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - A blood drive, a pop-up flower shop and a silent disco are on tap for Spring Tour 2020 at The Yard at College Avenue.

The New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO) has announced spring lineup that will include a combination of special activities and recurring events.

The calendar will kick off on Feb. 12 with a blood drive in cooperation with Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. On Feb. 13, there will be a Galentine's Day event and on Feb. 14, The Yard will be turned into Dance Marathon's Pop-Up Flower Shop.

In March, The Yard will host a coffeehouse event (March 11), Lunch Time Madness (March 17) and Spa Night (March 31).

The April calendar includes admitted student open house (April 4), Lunch Time Madness (April 6), an Easter egg hunt (April 9), a RWJUH blood drive (15), a yard sale (18), Salsa Night (21), Rutgers Day celebrations (25) and esports night (28).

There will be an all-night disco (May 1) and a silent disco (May 4) to close out the spring.

In April, the Hub City Music Festival events (every Wednesday), Movie Knight (every Wednesday at 8 p.m. presented by Just Drive by New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission), the Lunch Break Music Series (every Friday at noon) and yoga presented by RWJBarnabas Health (Sundays at 10:30 p.m.).

Additional events will be announced throughout the spring.

In 2016, Rutgers University proudly opened The Yard” a student housing and retail complex along College Avenue built under the direction of the New Brunswick Development Corp.
