Elijah's Promise preps hundreds of Thanksgiving meals for those in need

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Elijah’s Promise has built up a reputation as one of the most prominent soup kitchens in the Central Jersey region, and this Thanksgiving, the organizers will have another go at living up to that name.

Irish pub to replace Old Bay restaurant, following final farewell in December

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The longtime Old Bay establishment will be replaced by an Irish pub, once the restaurant closes its doors for good in December.

The opening date of the new restaurant, “Blackthorn Irish Pub & Restaurant,” hasn’t been finalized, but the target date is February or March, with renovations starting in January.

Over 1 Million New Jerseyans Expected to Drive on Thanksgiving Weekend

FLORHAM PARK, NJ - AAA estimates that more than 1 million New Jerseyans will journey 50 miles or more from home during Thanksgiving weekend, the highest volume for the holiday since 2007 and a 4.1 percent increase in travelers from 2013.
