NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The city has announced it is canceling the meetings of several official agencies such as the Rent Control Board and the Traffic Commission until April 30.

According to a press release from a city spokesman, the cancelations are in response to coronavirus COVID-19.

Meetings of the Library Board of Trustees, Human Relations Commission, Historical Association, Citizens Recreation Committee, Environmental Commission, Community Arts Council, Senior Citizen Advisory Council, Parks and Gardens Commission, Cable Television Citizens Advisory Council, Ethics Board, Construction Board of Appeals and Citizens Taxi Service Council have also been canceled.

No changes to the April meeting of the Zoning Board of Adjustment or the upcoming meetings of the Parking Authority, Planning Board, and Housing Authority have been made as of this time. Notice of any changes to the schedules of these agencies and how those meetings may be conducted will be announced, according to the press release.
