NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The city announced that three cooling centers are available for residents to utilize during today's heat.

The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory until 8 p.m. tonight. Today's high is expected to reach 94 degrees in New Brunswick.

Residents without adequate relief from the heat are welcome to go to the New Brunswick Free Public Library on 60 Livingston Ave. until 9 p.m., the New Brunswick Senior Citizen Resource Cente at 81 Huntington St. until 4 p.m or Elijah's Promise at 18 Neilson St. until 7 p.m.
