MIDDLESEX COUNTY - Officials have identified the second victim whose body was discovered in a Jamesburg house fire last week.

Gregory Fischer, 53, of Jamesburg has been identified by the Middlesex Regional Medical Examiner’s Office as the second victim in the fire at a home he resided in on Sheridan Street, according to a press release issued by Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Chief James. J. Craparotta of the Jamesburg Police Department.

The Medical Examiner’s Office performed the autopsies and determined the manner of death for Fisher and Clifford Kitchen, to be homicide. The cause of death has been determined to be fatal stab wounds, according to the press release.

Clifford Kitchen's body was identified Monday.

His son, Jaree D. Kitchen, 21, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, aggravated arson in the second degree, hindering his own prosecution in the third degree, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the third degree and destroying physical evidence in the fourth degree in the death

He is being held at the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center pending a Detention Hearing scheduled for Nov. 13, 2019.
