Woodbridge Lawyer Faces 5-year Sentence for $310K Theft from Clients

NEW BRUNSWICK - A Woodbridge lawyer who admitted stealing from two clients over housing deals now faces a five-year prison term and must repay $310,000 to the clients,  authorities said today.

In one case the lawyer, 64-year-old Richard Zuvich, admitted taking the proceeds from the sale of his client’s house, Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew Carey said in a statement.

Flash flooding closes ramp to Rt 18

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Fast moving heavy rains quickly deluged a part of George Street and forced the closure of the ramp from George Street to Route 18 south.

City police put out an alert at 3:30 p.m. about the closure of the ramp near the southern end of the city.
