NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The police are looking for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run incident in North Brunswick early this morning.

Alysa Kristjanson, 22, of Princeton, was struck on Route 130 near the Dunkin Donuts at about 12:58 a.m., according to a joint press release from Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Christopher L.C. Kuberiet and Director Kenneth P. McCormick of the North Brunswick Police Department

Detective Paul Pappas Jr. of the North Brunswick Police Department and Detective David Abromaitis of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office said the vehicle left the scene of the incident.

The investigation is active and is continuing.
