NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - A math tutor arrested and charged with inappropriately touching a 15-year-old student is facing charges he touched three additional students, police said.

Suresh Rawal, 65, of East Windsor was arrested on Aug. 27 and charged with two counts of sexual assault in the second degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree.

According to a statement released by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey, Chief Fred Tavener of the Plainsboro Police Department and Chief Raymond J. Hayducka of the South Brunswick Police Department, Rawal inappropriately touched a child between the age of 6 and 7 during a tutoring session at Rawal’s residence in Plainsboro in April 1999.

According to the statement, Rawal also inappropriately touched an 11-year-old on several occasions during tutoring sessions between May and July. This contact took place at his place of business, the KASR Capital Academy located at 666 Plainsboro Road, Suite 1175 in Plainsboro.

Police said that in August 2017, Rawal inappropriately touched a 16-year-old during a tutoring session at the student’s residence in South Brunswick.

Rawal was arrested Aug. 1 and charged with one count of aggravated criminal sexual contact in the third degree, one count of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, according to a statement released Carey and Travener.
