MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ - Middlesex County Sheriff Mildred S. Scott swore in six sheriff’s officers and four sheriff’s investigators July 18.
All are graduates of Mercer County Police Academy and have completed 21 weeks of training starting in March.
Among the new recruits, two have earned associates degrees and four have earned bachelor’s degrees.
Three of these new members are women.
They hail from different parts of Middlesex County, including Christopher Cimilluca (Colonia), Sherman Harris Jr. (Edison), Lauren Gregory (Helmetta), Kyle O’Connor (Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge), Raymond Smith (North Brunswick), Joseph Diaz and Desiree Reid (Old Bridge), Janaysia James (Perth Amboy), Joe Fina (Piscataway) and Brian Presti (Woodbridge).
“I congratulate each of our new officers and Investigators and wish them continued success in their careers,” Scott said.
“The Board of Chosen Freeholders and I would like to welcome our new sheriff’s officers and Investigators, and congratulate them on this milestone,” Middlesex County Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios said. “I know they will do their very best to aid Sheriff Scott and the rest of the Sheriff’s Office in keeping our county safe.”
