Congressman Leonard Lance (NJ-07) today announced that Alexandra Fee of New Providence has completed a fall internship in his Capitol Hill office. Fee, 20, is a student at The Catholic University of America.
“Alexa was a wonderful addition to the Washington DC staff and I am thankful for the hard-work and professionalism she contributed to my congressional office,” Lance said. “Internships are a great way for young people to learn more about how government works and serve the people of their community through public service.”
Interns in Lance’s congressional office perform a variety of duties, including greeting office visitors, facilitating tours of the U.S. Capitol for visiting residents and helping staff with legislative research projects as well as constituent correspondence.
“I am glad that I had this opportunity to really see what government is like and have the chance to help my neighbors,” Fee said.
Fee is the daughter of John Fee and Martha Demchyshyn Fee of New Providence.
