NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Theater week is back at Allen W Roberts School this year in the form of production of the play, Cinderella.  The curtain will open on the second, third and fourth grade students tonight at 7 p.m. in the Allen W. Roberts gym, doors open at 6:40 p.m.

Every year the second through sixth grade students at AWR participate in Theater Week with the younger students performing and the fifth and sixth graders working on the crew. This year 60 students have participated in the production of Cinderella. Under the direction of Christina Decker and Shivani Pradhan the children have been rehearsing after school several times a week for two weeks.  With the help of PTA Committee chairs Rebecca Coniglio and Katie Mangel and many others this production will be performed tonight at 7 p.m. “The kids have worked hard and are excited. The teachers and parents have volunteered to help make this show a success,” said Coniglio. This play is free to the public.
