NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - On January 21, the  NJ Suburban Youth Football League (NJSYFL) held its annual Awards Dinner in Kenilworth, NJ. The New Providence Police Athletic League (NP PAL) is proud to announce two members of the NP PAL Football program were Award Winners for 2017.

Dean Licari, who this past season was a member of the NP A league team, was recognized as a 2017 NJ-SYFL Scholarship Winner, which is based on excellence in the classroom, as well as performance on the field.

Brian Woodby, commissioner of the NP PAL Football program for the last two years, was recognized as the NJ-SYFL League Rep of the Year. The League recognized his commitment to player safety, balance of fair play, and the significant increase enrollment in their football program over the last two years.

NP PAL offers competitive athletic programs for children and young adults. Programs under their direction include Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading,Football, Softball, and Wrestling and promote good sportsmanship and citizenship. For more information on their programs at newprovidencepal.org.
