SUMMIT, NJ - We wanted to take this opportunity to communicate with you regarding our response to COVID-19. We are continuing to deliver hot meals Monday through Friday to our homebound neighbors. During this time, it is even more critical that we do our best to maintain consistency and continue to provide meals to those most vulnerable in our community. If you know an older adult who might need meals, even for a short period, we are still adding people to our program.

We are following the recommendations of national, state and local officials and health agencies. We are taking precautions to minimize exposure and practice social distancing.  Our primary consideration has and always will be the health and safety of our team, our volunteers and the participants that we serve.

We have plans and protocols in place should we need to alter daily delivery and possibly move to shelf stable meals.  Thank you so much for reaching out and wanting to help deliver, but because of the current situation we are not accepting new volunteers at this time. Our current volunteers are trained, they know our clients well and are delivering meals with the utmost of caution.  If this national emergency worsens, we will reach out to the community to help.
