BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - Senior Brian Madden pitched a full game and William Faucher went 2-for-2 with one double, 4 RBI and one run for New Providence in 7-2 baseball victory over Jonathan Dayton on Tuesday. With Tuesday's win, the Pioneers improved to 7-8.

Madden (3-2) struck out six and walked two allowing six hits and two runs. 

Ahead 3-1, New Providence recorded a four-run sixth inning. Scott Harvey, Eric Martin and Tyler DeGeorge drew walks followed by three singles by Joseph Nave, Jason DeBenedetto and Faucher.

DeGeorge went 2-for-3 with 1 run scored, Matt Timpone went 1-for-3 with 1RBI; DeBenedetto went 1-for-3 with 1 Run scored; Scott Harvey scored 2 runs, Peter House scored 1 run. 

Up next, the Pioneers will host Pingry on Friday, May 13 with a 4:15 p.m. first pitch.
