NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The New Providence baseball team won its second in a row to improve to 3-4 behind Saturday's 11-5 victory over Rahway and getting by Arthur L. Johnson, 5-2, on Monday. 

In Monday's game, the Pioneers’ Michael Magnani went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a single, and three RBI to lead New Providence to a 5-2 win. William Faucher went 4-for-4 with two doubles, two singles and a RBI.

Ryan Sherman pitched six innings, allowing two runs on seven hits, while striking out two and walking one. 

Up next, New Providence hosts Union on Tuesday, April 18 with a 1 p.m. start.
