Good morning all:

Just a friendly reminder, that the New Providence PBA Blood Drive is today from noon until 6 p.m.  Today’s drive will be held in the New Providence Municipal Center in room G1 and G2, 360 Elkwood Avenue (across from the library) We have arrows to direct you once you enter the front door of the Municipal Center.

At this time of the year we are all very busy shopping, wrapping presents and preparing for our holiday feasts. Blood collection at this time of the year is greatly needed due fact that with our busy schedules many donors can’t find the time to donate and supplies are critically low.

In the spirit of the holidays your blood donation makes a considerable difference and truly is the gift of life for those in need. Please come out and donate.

All presenting donors will be entered into a sweepstakes for a pair of SUPER BOWL XLVIII tickets.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday and a happy and healthy new year.

Scott

Letter to NP Mayor and Council

I am writing to express my dismay at the New Providence Council’s actions at its February 12th meeting. The council voted to allow up to three council members (up from 2) to attend committee meetings. Because of Sunshine Laws no more than three can attend a meeting.  In my opion, the objective was to squeeze-out Mayor Morgan from committee meetings.  Without going into ...
