Led by Hemadri Saxena. Come learn and explore the distinctively upbeat and funky Bollywood Dance (a mixture of belly dancing, Kathak, Indian Folk, and jazz dance) popularized by India’s film industry.
Free and open to the public, all levels, ages 13+
Hemadri Saxena was born and raised in India. She is an Automation Engineer by profession, but a dancer by passion. She believes dance is not about achieving perfection, it is about enjoyment. “If you enjoy your dance and do it with your whole heart and dedication, to me that is perfection,” says Hemadri. “ Just dance for yourself, as if no one is watching, and I am sure magic will happen”.
The program will be held on Sunday, June 23, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. at The Connection, 79 Maple Street, Summit.
