NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Friends, family and colleagues gathered Thursday evening at the New Providence DeCorso Senior Center to celebrate the retirement of Peggy Brodeur.

Mayor Al Morgan thanked Brodeur for her years of service to the borough of New Providence and presented her with a New Providence Centennial Park mini clock.

"I have known Peggy for over 30 years. She is one of the most caring and generous individuals that I have ever had the honor and pleasure of knowing. I wish her all the best in the next chapter of her life and congratulate and thank her for her many loyal years of service to the borough of New Providence," said Mayor Al Morgan.
 
"Peggy is an asset to the borough," said council member Gary Kapner. "Her dedication, commitment, kindness and generosity is inspiring."
