NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – For the second time this season, junior Johnny Shahpazian and senior Jack Harvey combined to score at least 10 goals in a game. On Friday, the duo scored 11 goals leading the Pioneers to a 17-7 victory over East Brunswick.
Harvey scored six times and assisted on four others, while Shahpazian found the net five times for the second time in his career.
Pioneer sophomore Tyler Lawton added three goals for the Pioneers, his eighth tally over the past two games. Goaltender Garrett Pope made 15 saves in the victory.
East Brunswick’s Greg Walsh also scored five goals in the losing effort.
The Pioneers return to action on Monday when they host a Union County Tournament quarterfinal.
