NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Pioneer junior Sebastian Everton notched a goal and an assist to lead the New Providence boys soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Roselle (Abraham Clark) High School in a preliminary round match of the 2017 Union County Tournament.

Everton's first tally of the year broke a scoreless tie in the first half on Monday to send New Providence into the official first round of this year's Union County Tournament.
 
Devin Mulligan added a second half goal to create a bit of separation for the Pioneers. James Millar recorded an assist on the play.
 
 
Goalkeeper Dillon Konzelmann picked up two saves on five Roselle shots to earn the win.
 
The Pioneers host Plainfield in the first round of the tournament on Saturday at Lieder Field.
