HILLSIDE, NJ – New Providence’s Neal Vinaixa scored two goals, however the Pioneers could not take advantage, playing to a 3-3 draw with Hillside on Tuesday.
Vinaixa now has seven goals on the season, good for second best on the team, behind junior Sean Regan who leads the team with 11 tallies.
Junior midfielder Jimmy Avangelos also scored for the Pioneers.
Goalkeeper Dillon Konzelmann made five saves in the tie, as the Pioneers moved to 5-7-1 on the season.
New Providence next visits Arthur L. Johnson on Thursday for a 4 p.m. tilt. The Pioneers were shutout 1-0 by the Crusaders earlier in the year.
