KENILWORTH, NJ – Magic could not strike twice for the Pioneer boys’ soccer team. Despite defeating local powerhouse David Brearley earlier in the season, the Bears got the best of New Providence on Tuesday, 3-1, at Ward Field.

The Pioneers never led in the game, as they trailed by two goals at the half, eventually losing by the same deficit.

Junior Sean Regan scored the lone goal for New Providence in the second half for his ninth tally of the season.

New Providence falls to 3-5. The Pioneers are back in action next Tuesday when they host Union Catholic at Lieder Field.
