LITTLE FALLS, NJ -- Cheryl Mucha, Founder and CEO of CFO Your Way, spoke with TAPintoTV’s Executive Producer Brian Brodeur about how her firm helps small business owners realize their financial goals. Brodeur and Mucha spoke via video conference from East Main Media’s studio in Little Falls, NJ, which has been reconfigured to accommodate remote interviews due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mucha recognized the need for her services while working at a local, family-owned business herself, then realized she had the potential to help many others and CFO Your Way was born. She works very closely with her clients and customizes her services to fit their needs, offering support ranging from bookkeeping to a CFO role.

“We work with the business owners to broaden their scope of how they can use their numbers so that they can be more strategic,” said Mucha. “The CFO Your Way team becomes an extension of each and every business that we work with. We roll up our sleeves and we work side-by-side with them,” she added.

When the coronavirus pandemic hit New Jersey, Mucha was ready to help her clients since “there was panic in the air.” Because her clients’ financial records were in good standing, they “were ready to apply for whatever they qualified for and we helped them through those application processes,” she said.

Mucha offered this advice for local entrepreneurs. “Not only do small business owners need to be aware of their expenses and their revenue,” said Mucha, “they need to look at their profitability as well.”
