On Saturday, October 2nd, Charnwood Road held its annual block party.  It was a gorgeous sunny Fall day and neighbors came from Charnwood to Evergreen and from Central to Runnymede Pkwy. to visit with friends and neighbors.

People rolled over their grills and set -up tents to get ready for the party, which has been taking place annually for two decades.

Neighbors brought their chairs and tables to enjoy a day of great conversation, food and spirits with friends.  It was a great time to meet new people, hang-out with old friends and enjoy good company.

Tons of Activities were planned for the kids:  Moonwalk, Face Painting, Balloon toss and prizes, Candy Hunt and a Fire Truck.

Neighborhood kids had a blast playing with their friends, drinking hot chocolate and staying up late.

A donation was made on behalf of the neighborhood to the NP Volunteer Fire Dept. for coming out to our Block Party.

Entertainment was provided by our local band - "Last Call" and some neighbors even participated in the singing.

The Planning Committee consisted of long-time residents and other close neighbors:  Dawn Sherman, Kimberly Jonny, Nancy Birkner, Laura Burton & Suzanne Botvinis

With a new head coach who just came on board in late April, we had a lot of things to do without much time. Most people would say being on a 1-9 football team would be no fun and, at times, it wasn’t, but it was the ...
