Williams also noted that Topology, the planners hired by Chatham Borough for the redevelopment of Post Office Plaza, have obtained GPS data on the traffic flow into and out of Chatham. Topology will report on traffic on Main Street and where vehicles travel after entering Chatham.

"Topology has purchased this GPS data," Williams said. "There is no identifying information. it's just GPS of where cars that have a phone in it, where they are going. They put virtual gates all around the streets in Chatham and they're able to count the cars that are going in and out of the town. It's a year's worth of data and they're analyzing it now."

Topology has purchased the traffic information from StreetLight.
