NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The home of a resident on Clinton Avenue in the borough was burglarized last week.

The resident reported the theft of a wallet and several pieces of jewelry from the home on Monday, Dec. 30, sometime between 4:30 and 7 p.m.

According to New Providence police, a side-door window was broken. The burglary is still under investigation by the New Providence Detective Bureau.  Anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious during this time frame in the area of Clinton Avenue is asked to contact the police department at (908) 665-1111.
