NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Downtown New Providence was mobbed by hundreds of trick-or-treaters and their families Saturday afternoon during the annual “Trick-or- Treat” sponsored by the New Providence Business Community.  All participating stores sported a pumpkin in their window, stocked up on candy and waited for the crowds that came streaming in.

The Village Shopping Center was filled with hundreds of kids in costume running from store to store. Adams, TMC and The Max Challenge had a steady flow of unicorns, dragons, witches, Harry Potters and princesses all day and the Prestige Diner had a non-stop line of Pokémon, cowboys, and even a Godzilla. This annual event is always a big hit for the kids in town and this year was no exception.

Coming up next weekend, the New Providence PBA, in partnership with the Sharing Network with help from the New Providence Lions are hosting the 2017 New Providence Trunk-or-Treat Event on Sunday afternoon, November 5, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Sharing Network 691 Central Ave in New Providence. This is an all inclusive, outdoor community, family-friendly trick-or-treating event.
