NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - The vice-president of Operations at Eastwick College has joined the Board of the NJ Sharing Network Foundation.

Bhavna Tailor of Clifton, responsible for all management and leadership responsibilities at the college’s Nutley campus, said that volunteering with the NJ Sharing Network Foundation is an ideal complement to her work at Eastwick College, where many students pursue degrees in the health care field.

“Serving on the Foundation board is an ideal fit for me; Eastwick advocates and teaches our students about the mission of NJ Sharing Network,” Tailor said, noting many of the students participate in the NJ Sharing Network Foundation fundraisers throughout the year. “We make sure to educate our students about the importance of registering to become organ and tissue donors.”

Tailor added there is already a strong connection between the college and the NJ Sharing Network Foundation Board.

“Eastwick is a partner in our life-saving mission; NJ Sharing Network is invited into every class,” said Elisse Glennon, the Foundation’s executive director. “These current health care students are well educated; they are bringing the message to the community that donation saves lives.”

“Bhavna is one of the most hard-working and dedicated professionals I have met,” Glennon added. “She began working at the college in the role of a Career Service Advisor and has ascended the ranks to one of the highest positions at the college. Bhavna’s dedication and focus will be a tremendous asset on the Foundation board.”

Tailor joined Eastwick College in 1996, serving in such capacities as career services advisor, corporate director of IT and school director. She was promoted to vice-president of Operations in 2012.

Tailor is also active with the Newark Workforce Investment Board and the Essex County Workforce Investment Board, and she also serves on various county guidance associations.

February 19, 2018

Dear Editor:

I’m proud to support Colleen Mahr for Chair of the Union County Democratic Committee  (UCDC) and am encouraging my Scotch Plains peers to join me.

I was a first time candidate wanting to make a difference in my hometown of Scotch Plains, when Mayor Mahr of neighboring Fanwood stepped in to help me campaign and win my election to be Councilwoman three years ago.

Democratic Party Would Be Making a Big Mistake by Not Recognizing Colleen Mahr's Talents

Dear Editor:

Mayor Colleen Mahr has been a valuable friend to the Township of Cranford. Whether it’s offering advice and assistance during devastating flood cleanup, supporting the Mayor's Council on the Rahway River, or her insight and assistance in meeting our affordable housing obligations, Mayor Mahr is always there for Cranford.
