NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - Elefante Music in New Providence held a ribbon cutting on Sunday to commemorate the start of its partnership with Steinway Piano as a Steinway Educational Partner.  Elefante is the only such partner in New Jersey and is one of only two Steinway Educational Partners in the United States.  This means that Elefante Music now has a Steinway or Steinway-designed piano in each of its lesson rooms and a Steinway grand piano in its recital space.  Every piano student at Elefante Music will now learn on one of these pianos.

Al Elefante said, "Elefante Music is excited to have the Steinway partnership and we feel it is a great addition to the community.  All of our students studying at Elefante will now study on a Steinway piano."

Michele Stivalo from Elefante Music added, "Steinway is an American institution and it is an honor for us to partner with them."

"We love being affiliated with Elefante Music.  It is our only educational program in New Jersey and we are very proud to have it here at Elefante Music in New Providence," said John Weis of Steinway Piano.

Mayor Al Morgan concluded, "I'm so happy for the Elefante family for this great honor.  Steinway Piano is legendary in the field.  Elefante Music is the only place in New Jersey with such a partnership.  It is a great honor for Elefante Music as well as the Borough of New Providence."

Instead, it turned out to be a nearly 40-year odyssey in local journalism—including the last eight—overwhelmingly great—years with The Alternative Press (TapInto.Net).

I have decided it is time to spend more time in ...
