This Christmas season the New Providence Presbyterian Church put out a call to the congregation and community to support three local organizations working directly with people facing food insecurity. That call was answered by raising more than $65,000 which is being dispersed equally between the Market Street Mission, The Relief Bus and Young Lives to provide meals, supplies and hope all over New Jersey.

Before, during and after the pandemic, these groups have provided care, comfort and dignity to the 1 in 4 families who experience the uncertainty of knowing where or when to find their next meal.

“We are so thankful for the extreme generosity of our congregation, we know that these funds will aid many who are struggling with food insecurities.” said Director of Missions, Nancy Rizkalla Hembree.
