LAMBERTVILLE, NJ -- Sophomore halfback Charlie Barth scored three touchdowns to lead New Providence to a 25-6 football victory over South Hunterdon Friday night.

Barth rushed for 114 yards and two TDs and scored on a 55-yard pass play from Owen Kovacs. A senior quarterback, Kovacs passed for 145 yards and two TDs, completing eight of 17 passes. He also rushed for 60 yards on eight carries.

Kovacs completed four passes for 47 yards to Sean Michaels and two passes for 39 yards to Aidan Donnelly for New Providence (4-1). The Pioneers come home to play Belvidere (3-2) next Friday night.
