The May 9 meeting of the New Providence Garden Club will feature Holly Hoffman's lecture on Sex in the Garden.  Ms. Hoffman will discuss how spring wildflowers use color, scents and radiating lines to attract insect pollinators.  Then she will explore the dating strategies of small mammals, and  some common insect lives.  For example, some spend years eating underground and emerge only to mate and die!

The meeting begins at 6:30 at the New Providence Memorial Library.  A $10 donation is suggested. Refreshments will be served.  For more information, contact npgardenclub@gmail.com.
