NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - New Providence’s Katherine Marzynski scored four times to lead the Lady Pioneers past Livingston, 13-4, Wednesday under the lights at Lieder Field.

Marzynski was one of four New Providence players to score multiple goals, leading the group that included Samantha Scott and Megan Mahlstadt, each scored three times and Iris Kaloshi, who scored twice. Elena DelDuca added a goal.

With this victory, New Providence improves to 5-8 on the season.

New Providence led throughout leading 7-0 at half. New Providence continued to out scored Livingston 6-4 in the second half.  

Sarah Zeto recorded 18 saves in the victory.

Up next, New Providence will celebrate their seniors at Saturday's game against Newark Academy with a 10 a.m. start.

Chatham Borough Police Chief Crosson has Retired; Captain Gibbons is Acting Commander

CHATHAM, NJ - Phil Crosson Jr., who has been a member of the Chatham Borough Police Department since 1992, retired from his position as the police chief on Feb. 1.
