SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ  -- The depth of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood girls swim team helped them overcome solid individual performances by New Providence to win, 98-72, on Tuesday at the Fanwood-Scotch Plains YMCA (FSPY). The Raiders improved to 8-1, while the Pioneers dropped to 5-4.

Sara Misiukiewicz, won the 100 Butterfly and 200 IM, Sophia Kudryashova, took first in the 50 and 100 Freestyle events, and Erica Wirth, won the 200 and 500 Freestyle races for the Pioneers.

Senior Jamie Riffel won the 100 Backstroke and teamed with freshman Kudryashova, senior Misiukiewicz, and freshman Maura O'Keefe to take the 400 Freestyle Relay.

The Raiders took the 200 Freestyle Relay and the 200 Medley Relay. Anna Dunchus was victorious in the 100 Breaststroke.
