Everyone and their mummy will be in attendance at this year’s Halloween events in Summit, beginning with the Annual PAL Halloween Parade on October 24, followed by the second-annual Scream on the Green outdoor movie night on October 30.
March those Halloween costumes proudly through the streets of downtown Summit at the PAL Halloween Parade, co-sponsored by the Summit PAL and Summit Community Programs. Featuring plenty of ghoulish goodies, spook-tacular live entertainment, and a chilling costume contest, this event is sure to please all ages. The parade will begin marching at 3 PM from 25 DeForest Avenue to the Village Green, 356 Broad Street.
The following Friday night, October 30 on the Village Green, gather around the bonfire, sip on some fresh apple cider, and enjoy a Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus (PG) on the big screen. Don’t miss the pre-movie Monster Mash, set to begin at 6 PM. Movie begins at dark.
Admission is free to both the PAL Halloween Parade and the Scream on the Green movie night. All are welcome. For more information please contact the Summit DCP at 908-277-2932 or visit us online at summitcommunityprograms.com.
