SUMMIT, NJ - Harness the power and joyful feeling of laughter when The Connection is hosts a free 'Laughter Yoga' workshop on Saturday, December 7, from 7:30 - 9 a.m. This workshop, led by Certified Laughter Teacher from Laughter Yoga International Joan Castellano combines interactive laughter exercises with deep centering breaths and calming movements.

'Laughter Yoga' is a fun, effective stress relief program for all ages and abilities. Castellano's 'Live Life Laughing' wellness programs bring people of all ages and backgrounds together with deep belly laughs, deep belly breaths and playful laughter games. Her joyful laugh and playful spirit make it easy for everyone to join right in.

'Laughter Yoga' has been recommended by Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Andrew Weil as a fun way to exercise and relieve stress. It has also been widely covered by TIME magazine, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, the BBC, and 'The Oprah Winfrey Show'.

The unique form of stress relief was founded in 1995 by Dr. Madan Kataria. Motivated by his research on the psychological and physiological benefits of laughter, he started a Laughter Club in a local park - now Laughter Yoga is a worldwide phenomenon.
